God has carried me through many storms ... This storm is no different ... The winds blow, the lightening strikes, and the thunder (I mean .. devil) ROARS ....
But my God is all powerful, all knowing, all seeing ... and the only Miracle Maker ... And I trust God!
Thank you LORD for blessing me and keeping me all these years. You are my strength, peace, and joy ..... moment by moment as I walk forward in this journey, this trial, this test of faith ..... cancer is a word I hate, but it has no power, it's only a word .... I stand trusting you LORD .... so, if I loosen my grip holding on to you, please grab me quickly and hold me in your everlasting loving arms. I thank you LORD for a hedge of protection around my husband as we fight this battle together. I thank you for wisdom, knowledge, and favor with everyone we meet along this path, and for strengthened family relationships with our children, grandchildren, friends and loved ones. We are standing strong, casting all our cares, trusting you LORD JESUS CHRIST. Praise GOD for each and every blessing!!!

The POWER of the WORD OF GOD
In these scriptures, much emphasis is given regarding the “power of God’s WORD.”
“They were amazed at his teaching, because his message had authority”….. Jesus spoke “come out of him!” “All the people were amazed… with authority and power he gives orders to evil spirits and they come out!”
God’s word shall not return unto him void; therefore we are to rest in God’s
promise, trusting HIM to work HIS WORD that we speak; and He will give us the WORDS to speak in that same hour.
Isa 55:11 “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not
return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall
prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
Mt 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
Lu 24:49 “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”
Note the name Jerusalem means foundation of peace, or founded in peace,
teaching peace, duel peace shall be taught, lay/set ye double peace.
Jesus is our foundation. He is the PRINCE of PEACE. He is the WORD. We are to tarry in the WORD until we are endued with power. Worshiping Him in TRUTH (the WORD) and in SPIRIT. God works his WORD two ways: inside us as we read and hear the WORD, and when it flows outward as we speak to others. God WORKS his WORD in and through us. It’s a domino effect: once spoken to someone and they hear the Word, God works His Word on the inside of them, and so on. The point is that we are to tarry in the WORD until we are endued with power. You cannot give what you do not have: Read it, hear it, chew on it awhile, then share it: speak it outloud outward.
Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
SWORD OF THE SPIRIT. This is the word (rhma) of God, what His mouth has spoken, and is the only offensive weapon given to Christians with which to fight the Lord’s battles. #Eph 6:17. The word (logov) of God is likened to a two-edged sword, #Heb 4:12.
Speak the simple WORD of GOD trusting the LORD to work HIS WORD. Yield to the Holy Spirit so that God’s Word flows out of your mouth, as you rest your faith in God, trusting HIM to work HIS WORD, and God’s power will flow through you. God will work his WORD in those who hear the WORD you have spoken to them, long after you have left their presence.
Heavenly Father draw your children to you like a magnet with a deep desire to seek you and your WORD, to tarry until they are endued with power. In Jesus’ name. AMEN!

March 2011 Just Thoughts and Thankfulness
What a long Winter of ups and downs of cold and colder, of snow and more snow and even more snow. So many have the flu or viruses and colds. Thank you Lord for our health. Thank you Lord for the warmth of our home, for the roof over our head; for shoes on my feet so I can tread through the snow .... to search for clean snow to make snow ice cream. Thank you for my family and friends and their warm hearts and love they share. Thank you Lord for the cleansing that comes with being cooped up inside during the Winter seasons of our lives. Thank you for the hope of Spring to come and the expectations in my heart. Winter makes one appreciate Spring even more! Oh the seasons of our lives! Thank you Lord for the years and years of seasons of my life and the experiences and teachings that finally soaked in. Thank you for your presence that I feel in my heart and spirit ... especially when I'm all alone in the quietness and stillness of nothingness of my thoughts, in the darkness. Thank you LORD for the HOPE you have always given me and continue to provide. Thank you LORD that you are my source and supplier of all the necessities of this life and eternal life to come. Until then I continue onward toward you, my "master" LORD JESUS!

Thankful for another New Year: 2011
Thankful for another NEW YEAR ... for my family: husband, children, grandchildren, great granddaughter, parents, sisters and their families, and all our extended family of brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and for a long list of friends and acquaintances. There are lots of things on the burners .... lots of projects to work on and enjoy. Some will have to simmer longer than others as priorities take center stage.
Thank you LORD for every blessing you have given me. Thank you for the peaceful quiet times in the wee hours, in the day hours, to ponder, plan, dream, and to be thankful for all that I have and for every talent you have given me. I pray you will keep me in balance to do the important things first. Thank you Lord for leading and guiding and gently correcting me as I prod forward to create, paint walls and decorate rooms, paint artwork for friends and family, sew, quilt, crochet, accomplish, assist, aid, endeavor, and "love my neighbor as myself" in this journey called life. Help me LORD to cast every care and worry upon you now, and tomorrow, and Lord please hold my hand tight as we journey together.

IT"S RIGHT THERE, IN FRONT OF YOU
Ever get in a hurry trying to find something, but can't? Today I was doing that very thing, hurrying to get ready so I could leave, trying to find my perfume bottle for the last touch before leaving. There were several other bottles of "stuff" sitting all over the counter and I could not SEE the perfume bottle I was looking for (although it was right in front of me)! I took a deep breath and tried to look again, only s-l-o-w-e-r ! There it was ! Right in FRONT of me! I told the LORD thank you! finished up and went on my way.
The LORD then spoke to me: "That's what happens sometimes when you read my WORD. I have something there for you, that is RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU and yet you just can't see it! You can't see it because "stuff" is in the way. You get in a hurry, or have something else on your mind, or you are just not LOOKING ! Slow down, clear out the clutter of your mind, take your time, and spiritually SEE what is in my WORD. Open your spiritual eyes to SEE the mysteries I have there for you. Come closer, draw nearer, sit a while longer, ponder and receive all I have for you. I love you and want to spend time with you in the secret place."

Put on your BINDERS ... not your BLINDERS
The Holy Spirit dropped this nugget into my heart as I gazed at the picture of the cross-like shape of Laminin, a DNA-cell, (the glue that holds our body together), and as I read the names of each of the 3 binding domains of the cell.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 "And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken." The CROSS is our very foundation!
Col. 1:16 "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."
"PUT ON YOUR BINDERS ... NOT YOUR BLINDERS"

"THE HUMMINGBIRD CUPS"
(I wrote this for my two sisters Virginia Ann and Linda Sue, and our momma Helen Galloway Christmas 2008; and gave each a porcelain hummingbird cup from a matching set of four).
We are a family of four, but are a part of so much more. I'm just one little porcelain Hummingbird cup. I began as a piece of clay, but my maker created me as he created each of you to be His most precious work. He formed us and shaped us so that He could do wonderful things through us for His good pleasure. He painted the beautiful flowers and the Hummingbirds to bring Joy to you and Joy to me as we prepare for each and every day; to let us know that when things are going bad, or just on those days when we may be feeling sad, or when we are just "there" sitting all alone, gazing at the stillness as we sit in God's presence, in awesome wonder of things not understood.
As you sup from your Hummingbird cup, enjoying your morning brew, just think of me and the other two. Think of all the good times and pray for all of us, even though we aren't all four together each day, we can always be together in thoughts of our hearts. It is "the thoughts" that count! Thoughts are the beginning of words we speak out. So say a prayer for me and for the other two.
As you sup from your Hummingbird cup, enjoying your morning brew. We will be praying for you and for each other, a prayer of agreement (Matthew 18:18-20) for our "brothers," even though we are daughters, sisters, and mother. Nothing is greater than praying to "Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, in earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. In Jesus' name, AMEN." (Matthew 6:9-13).
"For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15).
Prayers touch hearts by the Spirit of God, so as you pray, you will know that the other three are also praying too; as we start our day before getting busy doing all our chores and work, or getting dizzy or even in a tizzy, or going here and over there! We can keep those thoughts and prayers deep inside our hearts as we pray without ceasing, as we go about our day. This is our way to keep in touch by His Holy Spirit. God loves us so very much that He gave His only begotten Son, so we could be His sons and daughters, to be loved by Him and through Him LOVE others.
So as you sup from this Hummingbird cup enjoying your morning brew, know that I do love you very much too! And so do the other two! As we three and you make four, who are a part of so very much more. Our prayers are threads that hold us together woven in this tapestry of life as we love one another as God works through us and pieces it all together. To give us JOY in our cup for each and every day.
Sometimes we must look deep inside to find His JOY, that has been there all the time, buried under thoughts going all through our minds. Right there with His peace that surpasses all understanding, waiting for us to be quiet and to be still. Lord give us wisdom as we seek you today. Thank you Lord for my sisters and my mother and for every blessing they have been and are to me. Bless them today because I love them dearly. Give them strength when they are weary. Give them Hope when they have none; and help them endure until in Heaven we are all one. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
As you sup from this Hummingbird cup, enjoying your morning brew ..... take a moment to savor God's LOVE and His JOY, and count all the blessings He has given you.
ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK: (Matthew 7:7-8) "Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."
(Matthew 6:33) ....."But seek ye FIRST the Kingdom of GOD, and His righteousness; and ALL THESE THINGS shall be added unto you."
Think on "things" of GOD today: He takes care of our today.....and tomorrow will be today when we get there......and He has already taken care of tomorrow too! And one great day we will all be in Heaven as a great big family with HIM. Oh what a day that one will be!

Brokenness
Brokenness is when you allow a layer of your ♥ heart ♥ to be peeled back, and God goes deeper inside to pull out the real you, a piece at a time. Embrace HIM as HE draws nearer to you.
Brokenness is openness with GOD ... You open yourself to HIM and HE breaks through every barrier and wall you have built up and around yourself own your own ... HE breaks through it all, piece by piece, in such a gentle loving way ....only when we allow HIM to and ask HIM to help us ... without HIM we are nothing ... but through brokenness we can be all HE has planned for us to be in HIS STRENGTH! ♥

It's Time To Gather At The River
This is a NOW WORD spoken to me today Dec. 15, 2009 from the Holy Spirit as I read a blog entitled "TWO KINDS OF ANIMALS" from "World Revival Network" written on Dec. 10, 2009 by J.D. King (Kansas City Missouri, a speaker, church consultant, and author; International Director of World Revival Network). Thank you Mr. King for the awesome article.

The blog article spoke volumes to me and those thoughts from the Holy Spirit follow as a prophetic NOW WORD.

It's time to get serious about prayer and about fasting to protect the "watering hole" or the water will be lost from all the chaos and confusion of those "splashing and acting like they are drinking" when in reality all they are doing is "splashing the water" onto the dry land that evaporates into the atmosphere, that is drying up the "watering hole" (the Word fell to the way-side).
There is always more "noise of bragging and boasting and bossing (pride, controlling spirits, Jezebel spirits) and talking and telling" (talebearers, gossip) where there is "splashing" for attention of anyone who will look their way: which is a distraction to confuse and side-track those who are there for "fresh water from the watering hole."
The question is: How LOW does the water have to get, before we wakeup and see the TRUTH of the matter and CALL OUT for corporate PRAYER and FASTING?
Can we not pray for 1 hour? How few do the people become before the CALL goes out?
Must it be an emergency before the ALERT (CALL) goes out?
If we wait until there is no more "water in the watering hole" how can the CALL be made? Calls can not be understood or heard from dry, parched throats of those who have no more "water from the watering hole." It is time! ""
Shall we gather at the river?

The blog article spoke volumes to me and those thoughts from the Holy Spirit follow as a prophetic NOW WORD.

It's time to protect the "watering hole" and drive out any predators. It's time to get serious about prayer and about fasting to protect the "watering hole" or the water will be lost from all the chaos and confusion of those "splashing and acting like they are drinking" when in reality all they are doing is "splashing the water" onto the dry land that evaporates into the atmosphere, that is drying up the "watering hole" (the Word fell to the way-side).

SUICIDE: Story about my Daddy
This is a copy of what I posted on THE BIBLE site on facebook in response to others discussion notes regarding a discussion page about: SUICIDE.
My father committed suicide in 1986 at age 64. He used a gun to the head. Five years before that he tried to OD on medication, but that failed due to the cold temperatures. He loved the LORD and served every Sunday in church. My father was the closest example to Jesus walking the earth that I knew and loved. He was diagnosed with "schizophrenia" at the time he was discharged from the ARMY in WWII with honorable discharge, (however they denied causing the disabling illness). He was involved in "secret" missions during the war, which we will never know the facts of what those involved. He was tormented with voices daily, constantly. The medicications would cause him to be "drawn" into the bed to sleep to the point he could not function as a husband or father to his 3 children or work at the job he loved. When he was doing well, he would stop the medications. Then shortly thereafter, the torment grew worse. His life was up and down, up and down, controlled by medications or voices.
For anyone that is not familiar with the "voices" they hear, pretend you and I are in a room alone talking, and you have head phones on and you hear the 1 Million other voices continually talking to you at the same time I am talking with you and you are trying to carry on the conversation with me. Frustrating is a very light term .... torment best describes this.
When my father died the Lord led my older sister to this verse, and since that time I have heard other preachers minister this same scripture when suicide occured.
My father was saved when he was young and served the LORD all his life. He was easy going and never said an unkind word to or about others. Is suicide a sin? YES and so is gossip, and so is envy, and so is jealousy, as is murder, as is lieing, but yet we murder with our tongues daily. There is life and death in the tongue. I am not the judge, and neither are you. God is our judge, and we will all stand before HIM.
If you have never lived with or been involved with someone that suffered with "schizophrenia" I encourage you to learn more, until you have compassion for those millions that fight battles daily to have a "sound" mind and function in their daily lives. God only knows the heart of man. How is your heart? Do you have a heart condition? God is still in the business of giving "heart transplants." Let God be the judge, love your neighbor, love your enemies and pray for them, and have compassion for those "neighbors" you meet on this road called life. Jesus Christ is our hope!
Isaiah 57:1 ¶ The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
2 He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

Prevention is the best medicine, but mental illness is a disease that requires medication. Most medications for this have numerous side effects and what works for one person will not work for the next. WE have billions of neuro transmitters in our brains and if they "misfire" a chemical imbalance in the brain occurs. A medication that corrects certain neuro transmitter chemical imbalances in a person can at the same time destroy others that are working properly.
While you walk this earth living your life, please remember that almost everyone you encounter has some battle going on in their life or in their mind. Pray for them, and ask GOD to give you compassion and understanding in your heart. Please join me in praying for MIRACLES for all those that are suffering now. God Bless you!

Love Letters from Jesus 7: A Merry Heart
My child, I love it when you smile and laugh from the bottom of your merry heart. I am your medicine. Take my Gos-pels daily; they're chewable!
